Hace veinte años, un 20 de octubre del año 1991, Los Enemigos sacaron uno de los mejores discos de la historia del Pop-Rock español: La cuenta atrás. Compré esta cinta en una desaparecida tienda de discos en la calle Melénde Valdes, en Madrid, unos meses después. Me gustó (y me sigue gustando) sobre todo el tono de las letras de Josele, la ironía, la contundencia y la variedad de estilos. Para mi es un canto al existencialismo positivo. A la manera de encontrarse cara a cara con la realidad, alejarse de la infancia, despertar del sueño y luchar en un mundo de hienas, aunque sin renegar de los placeres de la vida, valorar la amistad-paracaídas y hasta valorar la posibilidad de poder acercarme a otra orilla donde pudiera hacer pie...

Cinta original de Nevermind, el disco que lanzó a Nirvana al estrellato (y a estrellarse en su propio éxito, posteriormente) Han pasado 20 años y sigue sonando como el primer día que lo escuché. Energía, rabia, melodía, grunge, soledad. Compré esta cinta en un VIPS de la calle Orense, en Madrid, a principios de 1992. Luego la cinta pasó por muchas manos aquel curso de 1º de BUP. Pero todavía, hoy, sigue oliendo a espíritu adolescente.

Cuando se bajó del tren de la inocencia, nunca más pudo volver a subir en él. Después estuvo años perdido, buscando el camino de vuelta al hogar. Hoy suele pasear junto a la vía. Unas veces solo, otras acompañado. Cuando pasa el tren a su lado se para para verlo con suma atención, pero sin melancolía. Le maravilla que todavía siga funcionando. Puede tocarlo con sus dedos a su paso. Los vagones cada vez van más vacíos. Pero aún así le gusta verlo pasar.

When he got off the train of the innocence, he never could get on it again. Afterwards, he got lost for years, looking for the way back home. Nowadays, he usually strolls by the railroad track. Sometimes alone, sometimes in company. When the train passes by his side, he stops to observe it with extreme attention, but with no melancholy. The fact that the train still working marvels him.
